Just launched my own range of traditional English slipware with a modern approach and a fresh, dynamic colour palette.
Each piece is individually handmade slip-decorated earthenware. Pieces range from large platters, plates, dishes, bowls, trinket dishes and decorative tiles. Designs reference Folk Art animal paintings, French homewares with some modern themes. A colourful way to brighten any home.

I had the opportunity to create a series of illustrations for covers for prestigious music publisher Boosey & Hawkes. The characters were to be slightly retro and not too young as many adults take up learning an instrument.
The character theme was to match the strong series palette and to include some pattern or texture in each outfit.

In 2018 I was part of Snailway art trail. Fifty giant snails formed a public art trail around Brighton and Hove to raise money for The Martlet’s Hospice, Hove.
My design The Snail Hunt was chosen from over 300 submission. The design was a game for participants to enjoy. By counting the number of smaller snails hiding in the undergrowth and submitting the number you could win a paint your own snail model.
Needless to say, painting a large 3D snail is not my normal practice! But sharing the Snailspace warehouse with other artists (in a seven week heatwave) was the best fun I’d had in years.
I was thrilled that my snail Lionel raised £4,800 for the Martlet’s.
